I have known Michitaka Mizutani since
November 2004 when he enrolled in our English classes at the International
Language institute. He studied with us
for eight months and then passed his IELTS exam and entered our Cambridge CELTA
course where he did very well indeed!
Michitaka was a diligent CELTA trainee who
worked hard to provide his students with interesting, innovative lessons that
were based on sound EFL theory and methodology.
His lessons were well planned, learner-centered and provided learners
with the opportunity to study with a teacher who understood how they felt
studying in a language that was not their own.
Michitaka is empathetic to the needs of his
learners, practical about what can be accomplished in the EFL classroom and
enthusiastic about his own professional growth as an EFL teacher. He did very well as a trainee two years ago
and I am sure will do equally well in his new adventure as an EFL teacher and
school owner!
